  • 1. Were you satisfied with the services given by Utah Wedding Decor and More and its employees? (Why or Why not?)
Absolutely! I liked the communications from them which were always so positive and complimentary. It felt so good to hear a kind word during such a stressful time. The service they provided was excellent. They had the most beautiful decorations. We received so many nice comments about them. It looked so beautiful. We felt we'd entered a ballroom and not a gym. I also liked being able to call your cell phone when the lamp post fell over. You were able to come and fix it before the reception started. Thanks again.

    3. What suggestions would you give Utah Wedding Decor and More to better our services and selections?
There were a few items that could use a quick paint touch up...but honestly, the night of the reception...I wasn't noticing it. It's only because I was helping with set up that I noticed. I was going to recommend you offer to drop ceilings, however, after seeing how long it took and how labor intensive it was, I think you are wise to let the family handle it. It was beautiful, but if you were to offer it, you should quaduple your price. It took 4-8 people 6-8 hours to drop that ceiling. We paid about $200+ for the tablecovers, and about $60 to rent the scaffolding, plus $100 for the wire cables and bolts. The time involved was a labor of love, so be sure to seriously consider it and pay yourselves well because we would most likely NOT do it again. My husband said, if the next daughter asks, the answer is NO. However, my daughter, Melanie, loved it and said it was perfect. She appreciated it and it was her main request. So, she is happy. Had you said you would charge $2,000 for the ceiling, which is a fair price, I would have told her no. So, I feel you will be best served keeping yourself out of the drop ceiling business...unless you are a glutton for punishment. The two beautiful urns with white and purple flowers would have been fun to display, but the purple just didn't quite match. Perhaps you could take out the purple and replace it with something neutral colored. Then they will also be more flexible in your decorations. You could always save the colored flowers in case they matched another wedding.

    4. Did you feel that the price you paid for our services was fair and competative for what you received in return?(Why or Why not?)
Absolutely. With prices like that, you will stay in business for a long time. I also appreciated you coming to Wyoming. You started your day early and ended it late. I would have been willing to pay for you to stay the night in a hotel room, so you would not have to drive back so late. Perhaps you should include that in your gas costs. Then, you would have the option to drive back or stay the night somewhere.
